Alejandro Sanchez Pizarro, known by his stage name Alejandro Sanz, was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1968. He is a singer and songwriter and has ten studio albums, four live and four compilation albums, and 40 singles. The Spanish artist musical career began in 1988 with the album Los Bums are Los Chulos Son Pa' Cuidarlos, in which he used the pseudonym of Alexander the Great. The famous singer has sold over 25 million copies of his albums worldwide and has 17 Latin Grammys awards and three American Grammys. His albums reach more than 23 million copies sold and all have multiple platinum discs in Spain, Latin America and the United States.

Alejandro Sanz rose to fame in 1991, when he signed with Warner Music and released a new LP, Living Quick, which included 10 songs written by him. Since then, the famous singer is considered one of the most renowned and influential Latino artists of around the globe. Among his most famous singles include Heart Partío, Amiga Mia and A La Primera Persona, among others. In May 2015, the Spanish artist launched Sirope, an album that includes 13 songs composed by him and combines elements of Pop, Rock, Funk and Flamenco, which is his characteristic style.

Alejandro Sanz has collaborated with major international artists such as Alicia Keys, Shakira, David Bisbal, The Corrs, Laura Pausini, Emelie Sandé, Ivete Sangalo and Tony Bennett, among others. In 2013, the famous singer was named Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Berklee in Boston for his great contribution to music and international culture. Among the most prestigious awards that the international artist has received include the Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture, the Vision Award from the White House through the Hispanic Heritage Foundation Award and composers and American publishers, ASCAP, because of his contribution to Latin music.

Outside of music, Alejandro Sanz is involved with NGOs such as Médicos Sin Fronteras, Save the Children or Greenpeace. The famous singer has four children, Manuela, fruit of 15-year relationship with the Mexican model Jaydy Michel and Alexander, born from his brief relationship with designer Valeria Rivera from Puerto Rico. Dylan and Alma are hisr other two children, fruit of the relationship with his current wife, Raquel Perera.
