Alessandro Rodolfo Renato Lindblad, known in the world of electronic music as Alesso, is a Swedish DJ of Italian origin born in 1991 in Stockholm, Sweden. Active since 2010, he has been several years among the most important DJs of the electronic music scene.

Alesso began to emerge when he was only 19 years old and after achieving contact with the also known Swedish DJ Sebastian Ingrosso, former member of the Swedish House Mafia. In 2010, the young Alessandro handed him a CD with many demonstrations and, after listening to it, Sebastian contacted to incorporate him in his record label, Refune Records. Together they releasedCalling, a worldwide hymn that led him be among the best in little time. Artists such as Avicii, Tiesto or David Guetta quickly supported the young Swede. He after released Pressure, which was very successful, and the vocal version of the single which he had collaborated with Ingrosso, this time called Calling (Lose My Mind).

In 2012 he released another song of great global impact, Years, with the vocalist Matthew Koma. This is definitely the song for which he is best known and an song that has become an anthem for lovers of electronic music. In 2013 he made a remix to If I Lose Myself, a song produced by the American band One Republic. It was again a successful remix and the Swedish DJwas nominated for the Best Remixed Recording in the Grammy Awards. In 2013 he also collaborated on another hit with the Scottish DJ Calvin Harris to release the popular song Under Control. The song rapidly ranked as first in the UK music charts.

In May 2015, the famous DJ Alesso released his first studio album called Forever, in which many new songs were released and others had already been released earlier. In the album it collaborated artists like David Bowie, Calvin Harris or John Martin. That same year he also presented a remix made of the song This Summer from the popular American pop band Maroon Five. In 2016 it is expected to collaborate with known DJs as Avicii or Martin Garrix.
