Carlos Alberto Vela Garrido was born on March 1, 1989 in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico. He started very young and motivated to play soccer in the children's teams Ko Cha Wolis of Cancun until 2003. Then He moved to the formations of the Club Deportivo Guadalajara, but never reached to debut with the first team. After becoming champion Under-17 with the national team of Mexico, where he was the top scorer with five goals in six games, Carlos Vela moved to London to join the prestigious football club Arsenal, and was trained by the prestigious Arsene Wenger. The famous Mexican soccer player officially became player of the English team at the age of 16 and had the chance to train with stars such as Thierry Henry and Cesc Fabregas.

Carlos Vela was loaned to the Spanish football club Celta de Vigo, but could not develop his football in this club by the large number of non-EU players who were active in the Spanish box. From 2006 to 2007 he was transferred to club UD Salamanca of the Spanish second division, Liga Adelante.

The famous Carlos Vela participated in qualifying for the 2010 World cup in South Africa alongside another great striker Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez. He debuted with a goal against Belize and sealed the globalist pass with a great performance against El Salvador, against whom, he made an assist and scored one goal for a 4-1 victory.
