Jennifer Lawrence is a famous actress who was born in 1990 in Kentucky, United States. Despite her youth, she has already managed to become one of the most prestigious and famous actresses in the world, after her great role in the trilogy, “The Hunger Games”. Winner of numerous awards, among which an Oscar for Best Actress and two Golden Globes for Best Actress, the brilliant actress owns a very spectacular career.
Amateur in both, sports and acting, the life of Jennifer Lawrence took a turned when she traveled to New York and impressed an audition for a small role. She graduated earlier than planned, so she could start her acting career.
At the beginning, the famous actress appeared in TV shows like “Medium”,” Cold Case”, and “Monk”. In 2007, the famous Jennifer Lawrence won one of the leading roles in the series The Bill Engval Show, where she took part of it in more than 30 chapters.
She debuted on the big screen in 2008, playing a role in “The Poker House”, in which she shared main role with Selma Blair. After several projects that didn’t have much impact, the actress appeared in “The Burning Earth”, where she worked with the famous actresses Charlize Theron and Kim Basinger. A year later, she rolled “winter’s Bone”, a film that received great reviews and thanks to which Jennifer Lawrence got her first nomination for an Academy Award; the most important that exist in the film industry. In the following years, the actress admired career took a turn towards a more commercial and popular angle. In 2011 she participated in “Like Crazy” and “The Beaver”, a project of the famous producer and actress Jodie Foster, before playing Mystique in X-Men: First Class.
The consolidation of Jennifer Lawrence in the film was thanks to the fame she previously earned in The Hunger Games, a saga of films in which she played the main role, Katniss Everdeen, and which received great recognition worldwide. However, it wasn’t until 2013 that she won her first Oscar so far, in the category for Best Actress for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook, directed by the famous director David Russell. Thanks to this participation, she also won a Golden Globe. In 2014, Jennifer Lawrence repeated her win for her second Golden Globe, this time for Best Supporting Actress for her role in “American Hustle”.
