Jordan Spieth was born in Dallas, Texas, USA, on 27 July 1993. Spieth is an American golfer who competes in the PGA Tour since 2013. The famous golfer has won eight professional championships, especially in the Augusta Masters in 2015, in the US open and in the Tour Championship in the same year. On August 17, 2015 he became the leader of the golf world ranking beating the Northern Ireland golfer Rory McIlroy.

At youth level, Jordan Spieth won the Amateur US Open in 2009 and 2011, was second in the Youth Championship PGA 2008 and 2009 and scored two and a half points for the United States golf team in the Golf Cup Walker 2011. At the age of 16, the popular golfer was invited to play the Byron Nelson Championship, where he finished in the 16th position. Jordan Spieth played in 2012 for the Texas Longhorns in college. In his first year he was named Player of the Year in the Big 12, NCAA All-American and finalist for the Ben Hogan Award. Besides, the laureate athlete played the US Open, where he finished at position 21 and as best amateur.

In late 2012, Jordan Spieth decided to make the jump to the professional circuit. He ranked second in the Puerto Rico Open, seventh in the Tampa Bay Championship and ninth at the Heritage. In July he won in Quad Cities, becoming the fourth youngest player to win a PGA Tour Championship when he was a 19 years old and 11 months’ golfer. Because of this he got the card to participate the full season. He came tenth on the earnings list on the PGA Tour 2013 and seventh in the FedEx Cup. Then he played the Presidents Cup with the US golf team, where he won two of four games.

In the 2014 season, the Texan golfer finished second in the Augusta Masters and in the Tournament of Champions, and fourth at the Players Championship. At the beginning of the the PGA Tour in 2015, Jordan Spieth won the World Challenge and the Tampa Bay Championship, was second in the Texas Open and in the Houston Open and fourth in the Los Angeles Open. The acclaimed golfer Spieth became the second youngest player to win the Augusta Masters. He achieved a score of -18 hits, tying the tournament record with the great golfer Tiger Woods, and an absolute record with 28 birdies. Similarly, in 2015 the Texan athlete won the Open in the United States, being the fourth youngest golfer with multiple titles in major tournaments. He was second in the golf PGA Championship and the Colonial Invitational, third in the Memorial Tournament, and fourth in the British Open. He finished the season with a win at the Tour Championship that made him win the FedEx Cup.
