Stephen Curry is a NBA famous basketball player who plays as point guard for the Golden State Warriors, although he has also played as escort in some moments of his career. He played the NBA All-Star Game twice and in 2015 was recognised as Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the season.

He was born in 1988 in Ohio and Dell Curry, his father, was also an NBA player who transmitted his passion for the sport to his children. Stephen Curry’s sister is a volleyball player and his brother is also a basketball player. The popular athlete played basketball with the Wildcats in college, where he spent three years and got an average of 25.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists. In his last season with the varsity, the player got his record of 44 points in a game against Oklahoma. In 2009 he was in seventh place of the NBA Draft, joining the Golden State Warriors and debuting as a professional player. Shortly after he got the gold medal at the World Basketball Championship and began being recognized internationally.

The talented basketball player Stephen Curry quickly became one of the leaders of the Golden State Warriors and in 2010, he was elected to the NBA All-Rookie Team. A year later he was chosen to participate in the Skill Challenge All-Star Weekend, being proclaimed champion of the event. In 2014 he became the first player in NBA history to achieve an average of 24 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds and he got the gold medal in the World Championship. In 2015, the famous basketball player was chosen Most Valuable Player of the NBA and broke his own record by scoring 275 three-point shots in a single season. That same year he won the All-Star three-pointer contest and was named Most Valuable Player of the regular season. This same season the Golden State Warriors won the NBA to Miami Heat, LeBron James’ team.

The famous basketball player married Ayesha Alexander in 2011 in Charlotte. The couple has two children, Riley, born in 2012 and Ryan, in 2015. Curry plays with the number 30, the same number of his father.
