Mark Sinclair Vincent, better known as Vin Diesel, is an American famous actor. He is a native Californian who grew up in a New York neighbourhood with his mother and never met his biological father. The adoptive father, who saw Vin Diesel grow, was an acting teacher, so the famous actor initiated in the performing world from an early age. Known for his role as Dominic Toretto in The Fast and The Furious saga, his beginnings were quite different.

Vin Diesel started his acting career in 1994. His first appearance was in Multi-Facial, a short film which managed to participate in the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. In 1997 he directed Strays and in 1998, he was selected to appear in the popular movie Saving Private Ryan, which had Tom Hanks as a main character. He was requested by the prestigious director Steven Spielberg after the great performance he did in Multi-Facial. He also appeared in the film Pitch Black in 2000.

Vin Diesel began his participation in the series of films The Fast and The Furious in 2001, along with his now deceased actor friend Paul Walker. In the saga, the distinguished actor plays a role of a serious and faithful man with an imposing physique that only few enemies are able to defeat. Vin Dieselrose to stand out when he appeared in the comedy The Pacifier, where he takes care of children while he is completing a mission to the army. In 2006 the famous actor reappeared in the 3rd installment of The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift, but only at the end of the movie. After the 4th installment of the saga, Vin Diesel was consolidated as one of the greatest characters and he has participated in all installments of the outstanding series of cars so far, including the last, which suffered after the sudden death of Paul Walker during filming. It is planned that Vin Diesel gives his voice to the animated movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and star in a new installment of The Fast and The Furious by 2017.

The famous actor Vin Diesel has been nominated multiple times for his appearances on the big screen, but he has managed to be awarded only twice. The first one was in 1999, winning the OFCS Award for his role as First Class Adrian Caparzo in Saving Private Ryan. In 2002, Vin Diesel won a MTV Movie Award for his role in the first instalment of The Fast and The Furious.
